About
Hi! My name is Kylie Bradshaw and I am a graphic designer with four years of experience living in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from Conestoga College, and I’m currently working as a Graphic/UI Designer with Actionfigure™ in Washington, DC. I have a great passion for all design, but excel in creative thinking, problem solving, logo & branding design, web design, and motion graphics design.
A bit about my work style — I’m a big fan of teamwork-based projects, and thrive in a collaborative environment. I’m very passionate about design, and always aim to create the best possible outcome for my team and the clients I work with. When I am not busy working on design projects, you can catch me outdoors hiking with friends, exploring local restaurants and pubs in the area, and traveling with my boyfriend (next stop is Paris, Italy, and Switzerland!).

10 interesting things about me
1. I am a World Champion
In 2016 I was part of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, and we won the Drum Corps International World Championships! I also won the “Performer of the Year” award as a member of the color guard.
2. I am canadian
Although I’ve re-located to the DMV, I was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and will always be excited to share my poutine recipes with you (it’s all about the cheese curds!).
3. I once received a final grade of 99% in College
Typography is my thing! I love Helvetica Neue (and just Swiss Style design in general!).
4. cats or dogs?
Always a tough decision — I love both! Although, I do own a pair of socks with my dog’s face on them… and it was the best purchase I’ve ever made.
5. I have a love for mid-century modern furniture and decor
I strive to make my home look like it’s from the set of Mad Men, but with less cigarettes and Canadian Club.
6. Some music that I’m into
I will always love Arcade Fire, Alt-J, The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, Glass Animals, and of course Justin Timberlake (who doesn’t love him?).
7. I’m currently obsessed with
Thai food, succulents, my Peloton bike (mostly just Cody Rigsby), Schitt’s Creek, and Rupaul’s Drag Race.
8. My favorite Adobe program is
Obviously, InDesign. Structure and layout just fits me so well!
9. Something I wish I could do more of
Printmaking. I love traditional printmaking, but unfortunately can’t afford an intaglio/relief press for my basement.
10. I like to collect
One of my favorite things to collect while traveling are unique coasters. I currently have about 50 of them and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! What will I do with them? That’s for future Kylie to figure out!
